Real Mexican Food With Love Right Here in Calhan

It started with homemade plates sold out of our own house. Then a food truck. Then, with our mother Licha beside us, a kitchen of our own. Everything still comes out the same way it always has — by hand, from scratch, for people we know by name.

Our Story

From a Home Kitchen
to Our Own Doors

Our journey began with a simple dream and a lot of passion — selling homemade food out of our house, hoping one day to take those flavors on the road. Hard work turned that dream into a food truck. And with the support of our incredible mother, Licha, it turned into a restaurant of our own. Every dish we serve is a tribute to our roots and the love that went into building this place.

Made In House, Every Day

Our Homemade
Pork Green Chili

It goes on the burritos, over the fries, across the rellenos and the eggs. We make it here, from scratch, the way it’s always been made in our family. Ask for it smothered — that’s how the regulars order.

No Shortcuts

Made Here, By Hand

Three things we will never buy in a bag.

A stuffed sopapilla smothered in Licha's homemade green chili, topped with lettuce and tomatoes

The Green Chili

Pork green chili simmered in house and ladled over damn near everything on the menu. Available by the cup or the side if you want to take some home.

Trays of hand-wrapped tamales in corn husks, ready to steam

The Tamales

Wrapped by hand, one at a time, in the back of this kitchen. Order them plain, smothered, or grab a batch to take with you.

Quesabirrias with a cup of beef consommé for dipping

The Birria

Beef slow-cooked until it pulls apart, tucked into tortillas dipped in chili sauce, with a cup of consommé on the side for dipping.
